Exposure 2015 Race Mk9 Bike Light (1200 lumens)

The 2015 Exposure Race MK9 is the most compact MTB bar mounted light in the range but it packs a serious punch. The output has increased to 1200 lumens and it contains all the intelligence of the larger lights. Reflex Technology boosting power when needed and the new OSD function backcap keep you informed of the lights status, as well as SPT+ for the addition of accessories and ITM for power management.

Reflex Technology enables the light to intelligently adjust its own brightness to suit your riding. A combination of gradient, acceleration and cornering forces are interpreted to match output to your need for light while automatically maintaining the burntime you have selected.

Capacitive Switching increases the ease of mode changing. The entire backcap of the light acts as a button so you can touch any point to change the mode. It intelligently senses pressure so whether you’re wearing big winter gloves or just not wanting to take your eyes off the route ahead the simplified switching is a touch away.

OSD status display advances unique Exposure Lights pat. pend. display technology. The new OLED panel gives program and mode information before switching to a burntime countdown. When charging, the OSD displays the percentage of stored energy in the cells.

Controlling the temperature of the LEDs is important in ensuring that the lights remain as efficient as possible. Patented technology in the circuitry of Exposure Lights stop the light from heating up to a point where the light loses power due to the elevated temperature.
